VON fundraising pages empower YOU to help make meaningful change in home and community care for Canadians.
With VON fundraising pages, you can help people live in their own homes and communities by delivering the caring support that they and their families need. You can bring your fundraising vision to life. You decide how you will mobilize your friends, family members, and those around you to make an impact so every life is lived to the fullest.
How to Set Up Your VON Fundraising Page?
VON Fundraising pages allow you to fundraise in nearly any way that works for you! Honour a loved one, Celebrate your birthday, sell lemonade, compete with your coworkers, host a kickball tournament, do something out of the ordinary, rally your friends to support you in athletic races and much more!
How do I register?
The easiest way to register is by registering online. Click the “Get Started” button on the main website page. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided. You will receive your own personal page and tools to help you maximize your success. If you don’t want to register online, you can call us at 613-288-3496 or email fd@von.ca and we’ll help you get setup.
How do I spread the word?
Use the email tools found in the Participant Center to send personalized emails to your contacts, announce your event and ask for donations. Access the Participant Center by logging into your account and clicking on “Participant Center” at the top of the page.
Engage your social media networks to drive people to your fundraising page. Create an event on Facebook to invite all of your friends and Tweet about your campaign.
Does it cost money to create a DIY fundraising page?
No, it is free to register. Set your fundraising goal and then ask your family members, friends and co-workers to make a donation to you on your personal fundraising page. Even the smallest donations make a difference!
Will my donors receive an income tax receipt?
Yes, donations of $10 or more will receive an electronic income tax receipt immediately. It will come as a .pdf attachment to their thank you/confirmation email.
What is your Charitable Organization Number and official name?
Our official legal name is Victorian Order of Nurses for Canada (VON Canada) and our charitable registration number is 1294 82493 RR0001.
